Lost & Found for Communities

A community coming together

Any group of people — a neighbourhood, an event, a response network — can run their own free lost & found space. We call them Community Boards, and they exist to turn moments of loss into moments of kindness.

What a Community Board does

A Community Board is a dedicated lost & found page for your group. Members and guests post what they've lost or found, search what others have posted, and contact each other through our secure messaging — without sharing personal details.

Every post on a Community Board also appears on our main board, so lost items and pets get the widest possible reach. Setup takes a couple of minutes, costs nothing, and there are no strings attached.

Who Community Boards are for

  • Events and festivals — a reliable place for guests to report and search for lost belongings, and for organisers to coordinate.
  • Neighbourhoods and local groups — a natural gathering space where neighbours help reunite each other with belongings and pets.
  • Disaster-response networks — a coordinated recovery space when natural disasters or crises scatter people and belongings.
