Will I also get alerts for found items?
No — alerts are limited to lost posts only. Found-item alerts could be exploited to target valuable objects, so we deliberately keep them out.
How do I choose the right radius?
For a specific venue or address, 20 m is enough to cover just that spot. For a neighbourhood, 1,000 m works well. The maximum is 20,000 m (~12 miles) for a larger area.
Can I filter by type — pets only, or items only?
Yes. When setting up your alert you choose Any, Item only, or Animal / Pet only. You can also limit alerts to a specific community board.
How do I unsubscribe?
Every alert email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. No login needed — click it and you're removed immediately.
